“This is an amazing hidden jewel”
I just HAVE to share this gem of a find. I received a gift certificate from my daughter for a facial at Swept Away in Shelton. THIS IS AN AMAZING HIDDEN JEWEL! If you want a great value, so that you can indulge yourself without feeling guilty, this is the place. Its tucked away in White Hills. You might have a pre-determined idea of what a spa which is located at a home might be.... I have to admit I did..... I envisioned, walking thru someone's back door, past a dog bowl, wi...th the essence of pasta fagiole wafting in the air.......BUT NO WAY!!!!!! As soon as you followed the stepping stones to the front door, you could smell that wonderful spa smell. You then entered directly into a real, relaxing, sensual spa.....honestly!!!! Lisa is so sweet, she sat with me to discuss my concerns, then lead me to the adjacent spa room complete with private bathroom. It was a complete full facial, which also included hand massage and paraffin wrap, a head,neck and shoulder massage; as well as a foot massage. To say that she gives you all the time and attention that is necessary is an understatement, because my appointment started at 245 and I walked out the door at 5:00!!!!!
